Successful doctorate of Jan Philipp Liebig!
Jan Philipp Liebig was a PhD student at the Institute I until July 2018. On 28.10.22 he successfully defended his dissertation on the topic “Grain boundary mediated plasticity in low dimensional metal structures”. Since 2018, Mr. Liebig is working in research and development of hard coatings at Walter AG in Tübingen.
