31. Fatigue Colloquium 2025
The Colloquium on Fatigue Mechanisms has been taking place at different locations for many years. This year, MSE I had the honour of welcoming around 40 participants from various European universities. On 10 & 11 April, almost 20 presentations took place, which led to lively discussions on the topic of fatigue.
The guests, some of whom have been attending the colloquium for several decades, exchanged views on fatigue in nanostructured materials, high-frequency areas and the new topic of functionalised fatigue.
In order to be able to exchange ideas beyond the technical aspects, there was the opportunity to get to know each other better over a Franconian meal in the evening. The location of the next colloquium was also decided: 2026 we will meet in Vienna!
