Successful doctorate of Daniel Elitzer!
On 06.05.2025, Mr. Daniel Elitzer successfully completed his doctorate with the topic “Effects of different process parameters on microstructure and properties of additively manufactured TiAl6V4 alloys for large-volume aerospace structural components”. A major focus here was on wire and arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) and the associated process parameters, which can be used to influence not only the resulting microstructure but also the mechanical properties of the component. Dr. Daniel Elitzer now works as a development engineer at SiCrystal GmbH in Nuremberg.
